Terms of membership and purchases

How to use domussolis.org, become a member, buy paid events and write in the community. Updated on 12 October 2026.

1. Who we are

The website domussolis.org is run, and its services provided, by Domus Solis, company code , registered at , Lithuania, email info@domussolis.org. We are not registered for VAT, so all prices are final.

2. Your account

  • You make your account yourself, with your name and email address. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe. If you think someone else knows them, change your password and write to us.
  • You can ask to delete your account in its settings. Within 30 days you can take the request back; after that your personal data is anonymised. Invoices are kept as long as accounting law requires.
  • We may suspend an account used against these terms or the law.

3. Membership

  • Members read every article and pay less for paid courses and events – the price for members is shown on each course and event. Some courses and events are free for members.
  • The prices of membership – by the month and by the year – are shown on the Membership page. The price you signed up at also applies to later payments; a changed price applies to new members.
  • Membership is paid by card on Stripe’s secure payment page. We never see or keep your card details.
  • The first 14 days are free. When you become a member for the first time you enter your card, but nothing is charged until 14 days have passed. If you cancel before they end, you pay nothing. The free days are given to a first membership only.
  • Membership renews by itself every month or every year until you cancel it. You get a reminder by email before the free days end and before your card expires.
  • You can cancel any time in your account, under “Manage the membership”. You stay a member until the end of what you paid for, and are not charged again. The unused part of a paid period is not refunded, except as described in section 4.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe tries again a few times and tells you by email. If it still fails, the membership ends.
  • An organisation orders a year of membership for its people itself on the Membership page and pays the pre-invoice by card or by bank transfer; its managers give the places to its people. For a personal membership paid by bank transfer, write to info@domussolis.org.

4. Your right to withdraw

A consumer may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. For a first membership the free days take care of this: if you cancel during them, you pay nothing. If a membership started without free days, you can write to us within 14 days of paying to withdraw – we refund what you paid, less a part in proportion to the time the membership was already in place.

5. Paid events

  • When you sign up for a paid event, you get a pre-invoice at once, and your place is held.
  • You pay by card or by bank transfer by the date on the pre-invoice – within 7 days, and no later than the event starts. If it is not paid in time, we may cancel the order and free the place.
  • Once it is paid, you get the invoice, and the link to join and the materials open in your account.
  • An organisation can order several places on one invoice and name the people later on the order page. The same payment and cancellation terms apply.
  • Cancelling. If you cancel 7 days or more before the first date of the event, we refund everything you paid. Later, the money is not refunded, but you can pass your place on to someone else – write to us. A place not yet paid you can give up yourself on the event page.
  • If we cancel or move an event, we refund everything you paid or, if you prefer, you take part on the new dates.
  • For events held on set dates the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply by law; the terms of this section apply instead.

6. Courses

  • Courses are free or paid. The price of a paid course and the price for members are shown in its description; some courses are free for members, and some only members may buy.
  • When you buy a course you get a pre-invoice, paid by card or by bank transfer within 7 days. Once it is paid you get an invoice, and the course opens in your account and stays yours – every lesson, recording and file.
  • Courses free for members stay open while the membership lasts.
  • An organisation may order several places in a course on one invoice and name the people later on the order page. A place may be given to someone else until its person opens a lesson.
  • Withdrawal. Within 14 days of paying you may withdraw from a course and get back everything you paid, as long as you have not opened any of its lessons. Press “Withdraw from the course” on the order page in your account, or write to us – we confirm by email that your withdrawal arrived. Money paid by card goes back to the card at once; money paid by bank transfer is sent back within 14 days, to the account you paid from. Once you withdraw, the course closes. By opening a lesson you agree that the course starts at once, and the right to withdraw no longer applies.

7. Content

Articles, courses, event recordings and materials are for your personal use. They may not be shared, published or sold without our permission. Please do not share the links to join events with others.

8. The community

  • Everyone with an account writes in the community, and only members in the categories for members. Only those who are logged in read what is written, and others' names are shown short (such as "Jurgita P."). You answer for what you write.
  • Be respectful. Do not insult, mock, discriminate, advertise or post illegal content. When you tell about your class, do not give the names of children, their parents or colleagues, or anything else by which they could be recognised.
  • A new account may post links to other sites after a few days and a few posts in the community – this keeps spam out.
  • Reporting content. Every topic and reply has a "Report" button. Choose the reason, and if you think the content is illegal, explain why. The Domus Solis team reviews every report; no automated tools decide. The author is not told who reported, and we tell you our decision in your account. You may also report illegal content by email to info@domussolis.org.
  • We may hide posts that break these terms or the law, and lock topics or move them to another category. We tell the author of a hidden post why it was hidden. If you disagree with a decision, write to info@domussolis.org and we will review it again.
  • We may suspend an account that breaks these terms repeatedly or seriously.

9. Liability

We do our best to keep the website running, but cannot promise it always will. We are not responsible for disruptions caused by others, such as payment or video providers, but we will help to sort them out.

10. Changes and disputes

  • We may change these terms; the new version is published on this page. Members are told of important changes to membership by email in advance.
  • Send questions and complaints to info@domussolis.org – we answer within 14 days. If we cannot agree, a consumer may turn to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority of Lithuania (vvtat.lrv.lt). Lithuanian law applies.

How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
